Genesis 33:5 

Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. “Who are these with you?” he asked.  Jacob answered, “They are the children God has graciously given your servant.”

 

Exodus 20:12

“Honour your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

 

Joshua 24:15

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.

 

Ephesians 6:1-2 

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honour your father and mother”, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.

 

Ephesians 6:4

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

 

Colossians 3:18-20

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.  Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.   Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

Genesis 21:1-3

The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac.

 

Genesis 25:19-20

These are the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham fathered Isaac, and Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean, to be his wife.
