Kingdom Harvest History

In January 2012, after serving in Bangor Community Church (BCC) for over 20 years, the Lord spoke to both Karen and I to start a new church in Belfast.

We immediately shared what the Lord had placed on our hearts privately with our pastors, John and Hilary Nabi. They and also the elders of BCC, after prayerful consideration, unanimously agreed they also felt it was the right direction for us. From that time until the present, we thank God for the wonderful support and encouragement we have received from BCC and so many of those who love us and know us.

On Sunday Aug 5th 2012 we started services in the Stormont Hotel and haven’t looked back! Thanks to ALL those who have stood with us prayerfully and financially to see what God had placed in our hearts become a reality!

After 19 months in the Stormont Hotel, we moved to the Inverary Community Centre, Inverary Avenue, Belfast to continue to accommodate the church’s numerical growth and reach our community

Most recently, we have acquired the Albertbridge Rd Gospel Hall (BT5 4JN) and are situated across the road from Connswater Shopping Centre next to the petral garage.

It’s a beautiful 1936 Gospel Hall designed by the same architect as the Queens University Whitla Hall, John MacGeagh. We are VERY grateful to God and to the Brethren Elders who agreed to sell us this building! GLORY TO JESUS!

The building has a LONG history of lifting up the Name of Jesus and sharing the Good News in East Belfast and it’s our whole-hearted desire to build on this wonderful legacy of the past by the Grace of God!
